Abstract

The survey research aims to 1) study the leadership of the director of the subdistrict
health promotion hospital, Ubon Ratchathani provincial public health office 2)
compare the leadership of the director of the sub-district health promotion hospital by
population characteristics. The participant was director of the sub-district health promoting
hospital in Ubon Ratchathani province, during 1 February -30 April 2558 of a multi-stage
random sample of 175 people. The instrument used in the study was a questionnaire. The
statistics used for data analysis were descriptive statistics (percentage, average, standard
deviation) and inferential statistics (t-test, One- way Anova)
The results showed that the overall leadership of the director of sub-district
health promotion hospital was at high level ( X =4.21, S.D.=0.55). Comparing the leadership
of the director of sub-district health promotion hospital by population characteristics, there
were statistically significant different in age, marital status, level of education, during the
operation of the organization present, current salary, number of public health workers in
sub-district health promotion hospital at p-value<0.05.
So the administration should encourage leaders to higher education in order to
have good leadership further.
