Abstract

The objective of this the cross-sectional survey was to explain the
salty eating behavior of aging in Bang-Plad district, Bangkok, Thailand. The studied
samples were 392 persons. Questionnaires constructed by researcher were used
to collect data. The data were then analyzed in terms of means percentages
and standard deviations. In addition, Pearson’s product moment correlation was
also applied in this study.
The results were as follows: The salty eating behavior of aging was at
moderate level (Good taste) about 59.2 %. Predisposing factors including garnish
prepare for cook. (r=.154) and prepare food and buy food should consider
delicious (r=.144) were associated with salty eating behavior at moderate level
(Good taste) of aging statistically significant at 0.01.
