Abstract

This descriptive academic article aimed to document the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic among teenagers and the impact of Covid-19 on teenage  pregnancy, as well as to provide nurses with guidelines for preventing teenage pregnancy. The content was obtained from the analysis and synthesis of literature regarding the Covid-19 pandemic situation and the problem of teenage pregnancy. Teenagers were an important group responsible for the spread of Covid-19, as they are an age group with very mild or no symptoms and a lot of social interactions. They could pass the virus on to others without realizing it, therefore causing an impact on teenage pregnancy. The results from this academic article could be summarized as a guideline for developing a model for teenage pregnancy prevention so they have better knowledge and attitude and can avoid risk behaviors like having unsafe sex.
