The Comparison of the Effectiveness of Ultrasound, Hot Pack Therapy and Shortwave Therapy with Passive Range of Motion in Patients with Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair

Abstract
The objective of this study was to comparison of the effectiveness between Ultrasound, Hot pack treatment and Shortwave treatment with passive range of motion in patients undergoing Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair. Retrospective Cohort Study was collected data from Out-Patient Department (OPD)card and received physical therapy treatment at Panyananthaphikkhu Chonprathan Medical Center, Nonthaburi province. 36 patients were divided into two groups including patients who received Ultrasound, Hot pack treatment with Passive range of motion (n=23) and patients who received Shortwave treatment with Passive range of motion (n=13). The results obtaining in both groups of patients were compared via the Mann-Whitney U test. The results demonstrated that there was no significant difference in both treatment duration and the change of range of motion between who received Ultrasound, Hot pack treatment with Passive range of motion and patients who received Shortwave treatment with Passive range of motion in patients with Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Repair.
