The research articles cover a wide range of topics, including health behaviors and road safety, factors associated with motorcycle accident prevention, determinants of mortality among HIV-infected patients with Pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia (PCP), and the prevalence of EGFR mutations in patients with non-small cell lung cancer. In addition, several studies address important health concerns among working-age adults and youth, such as osteoporosis and osteopenia among university personnel, the effectiveness of a preventive program for new e-cigarette users among upper primary school students, and the effectiveness of Thai traditional medicine–based activities in reducing foot numbness among patients with diabetes. These studies reflect the integration of modern medicine, health promotion, and Thai traditional medicine to enhance the quality of health care within the Thai context.

The academic article featured in this issue presents clinical practice guidelines for the initial care of methamphetamine/amphetamine users, intended for general practitioners and health care personnel. This topic is timely and highly relevant to current public health and social challenges and can be practically applied in clinical settings.
