บทคัดย่อ

เทคนิคโล่เบ้าฟันหรือการถอนฟันบางส่วน เป็นการจงใจทิ้งส่วนของรากฟันโดยเฉพาะด้านชิดริมฝีปากโดยมี วัตถุประสงค์เพื่อคงสภาพทั้งเนื้อเยื่อแข็งและเนื้อเยื่ออ่อนบริเวณนั้นและสามารถใช้รากฟันเทียมที่มีขนาด ตำแหน่งและมุมที่ เหมาะสมได้ แม้จะเป็นการใช้โล่เบ้าฟันจะมีประโยชน์อย่างมากแต่ก็เป็นเทคนิคที่ละเอียดอ่อน จึงเป็นที่มาของการศึกษาครั้งนี้ ที่จะทบทวนวรรณกรรมเกี่ยวกับผลลัพธ์ทางคลินิกของเทคนิคนี้ จากการทบทวนรายงานจำนวน 12 ฉบับ ซึ่งศึกษาทั้งในแง่ อัตราประสบความสำเร็จ การสูญเสียกระดูกรอบรากฟันเทียม คะแนนความสวยงามของเนื้อเยื่อเหงือก รวมทั้งผลลัพธ์จากการ ประเมินของผู้ป่วย พบว่าเทคนิคดังกล่าวให้ผลลัพธ์การรักษาเป็นที่น่าพึงพอใจ
