ผลกระทบของการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศต่อสุขภาพผู้สูงอายุ: ภัยคุกคาม ความเปราะบาง กลไกการรับมือ และปรับตัวอย่างยั่งยืน

การเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศส่งผลกระทบต่องานสาธารณสุขทั้งทางตรงและทางอ้อม ผู้สูงอายุถือเป็นกลุ่มประชากรที่มีความเปราะบางทางชีวภาพและสังคมสูงสุดและได้รับผลกระทบทางสุขภาพที่ซับซ้อนและรุนแรงที่สุด โดยภัยคุกคามทางสุขภาพจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศต่อผู้สูงอายุสามารถแบ่งออกเป็น 5 ประเด็น (1) ความเจ็บป่วยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความร้อน (2) โรคติดเชื้อและพาหะนำโรค (3) มลพิษทางอากาศและโรคระบบทางเดินหายใจ (4) ความมั่นคงทางอาหารและน้ำ (5) ผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพจิต บทความนี้ผู้เขียนมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์และทำความเข้าใจรูปแบบของภัยคุกคามที่เกิดจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศต่อสุขภาพทางกายและทางสุขภาพจิตของผู้สูงอายุโดยเสนอแนวทางในการเตรียมพร้อมและรับมือ เพื่อป้องกันผลกระทบที่เกิดจากการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ รวมถึงกลไกการปรับตัวและการรับมือในระดับนโยบาย โดยนำองค์ความรู้ไปใช้เชิงนโยบายและปฏิบัติ โดย ผ่านกระบวนการจัดการความรู้ ถอดบทเรียน การจัดตั้งเวทีเสวนา เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ให้เกิดการปฏิบัติจริง และสร้างวัฒนธรรมการเรียนรู้ที่สนับสนุนโดยผู้บริหารและมีกลไกการวัดผลที่ชัดเจนอย่างยั่งยืน
