Guide for Authors

Author Guidelines

The author must comply with the following conditions and procedures.

  1. Authors are required to prepare the original manuscript file, following the format and guidelines provided by the journal (refer to details under the section 'Preparation of the Manuscript').
  2. Authors are required to submit their articles by attaching the manuscript file (Microsoft Word) through the ThaiJO system. To log in, authors need to specify their affiliation, e-mail, and contact phone number in the discussion box. In case authors do not have a username and password for system access, they must register before logging in.
  3. The articles will undergo a preliminary review for appropriateness and alignment with the journal's objectives, ethical considerations, plagiarism check, and formatting compliance.
  4. Authors will receive an e-mail notification through the ThaiJO system regarding the outcome of the preliminary review (in step 3), indicating whether the submitted article has been accepted or rejected for further consideration. In cases where the article is under consideration but found to have incorrect formatting, authors will be notified to make the necessary corrections and resubmit the revised manuscript.
  5. The authors are required to fill in the information in the manuscript submission form and the publication fee payment form, transfer the publication fee, and attach both forms along with the proof of payment. The complete set of forms and payment evidence should be emailed to the Editorial Office via the ThaiJO system at the following e-mail: eauheritage_sci@eau.ac.th. Authors can check the publication fee details in the 'Publication Fee' menu and download the forms from here.

  1. The article will be sent to three qualified experts (peer review) with expertise in the relevant field for evaluation. This assessment, known as the double-blind peer review, ensures that both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the process. Articles authored by internal staff will be evaluated by all external qualified experts, while articles from external staff will be assessed by all external qualified experts or in collaboration with internal qualified experts.
  2. After the three qualified reviewers complete their evaluations (which typically takes around 4 weeks), the Editorial Office will notify the authors of the results.
  3. In the event that authors need to revise the manuscript based on the suggestions of the reviewers, they are required to complete the revision and submit the revised manuscript within 2 weeks. If the authors refuse to revise the manuscript or if the revision is not submitted within the specified timeframe, the journal reserves the right to reject the article for publication.
  4. Articles must undergo evaluation by three qualified reviewers, and the final decision rests with the editorial team. In cases where your article does not pass the evaluation by both the reviewers and the editorial team, the journal reserves the right to reject the publication of the article and will not refund any publication fees.

The sequencing and publication of articles are at the discretion and decision of the editorial team without requiring permission from the authors.
