Tuberculosis (TB) is a major public health problem in Thailand. Data for the fiscal year 2018-2021, community hospitals in Lamphun Province consistently found TB infections. This retrospective study from the TB database during the fiscal year 2018-2021 in community hospitals in Lamphun Province aimed to study occurrence of TB and factors affecting TB treatment. Patient information consisted of sex, age, TB type, acid fast staining results, HIV status, underlying disease, and treatment outcomes. All data was analyzed by binomial logistic regression analysis to determine factors affecting treatment outcomes. Results indicated that occurrence of TB in patients over 15 years of age was 664 cases. The annual occurrence rate of TB was 58.5, 64.3, 47.8 and 53.2 per 100,000 populations, respectively. Factors affecting cure were aged 15 to 34, aged 35 to 54, aged 55 to 74, TB history and TB with chronic abstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Factors affecting death were aged 15 to 34, aged 35 to 54, aged 55 to 74 and TB with COPD. Younger TB patients had higher chance of successful treatment than older TB patients. Patients with history of TB and co-existing COPD had lower chance of successful treatment. Thus, older TB patients aged 75 years and over with prior history or with COPD, there is chance that treatment is not successful and death
