Vol. 8 No. 1 (2025): January - April 2025

The Journal of Medicine and Public Health, Ubon Ratchathani University, Volume 8, Issue 1 (2025), is published in an online format and releases three issues per year under ISSN: 3027-673X (Online). The journal has been certified as a Tier 2 journal by the Thai-Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI), with the certification valid from January 1, 2025 to December 31, 2029. Each article is reviewed by three qualified experts, ensuring high-quality and credible publications. Reviewer names will be acknowledged in the final issue of each year. This issue features seven articles in total, comprising six research articles and one academic article. Topics include the effectiveness of Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS) combined with knee exercise on pain and function in osteoarthritis patients; a program to enhance the elderly's physical fitness in fall prevention and reducing sarcopenia risk; sexual health literacy and factors associated with the intention to receive the HPV vaccine among university students; a comparison of HbA1c levels in the second and third trimesters and their relationship to maternal and neonatal complications in mothers with and without gestational diabetes; factors associated with pulmonary tuberculosis in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus; a comparative study on union rates between intramedullary nails and interlocking plates for treating intertrochanteric femur fractures; and an academic article on preparing for an aging society.
