Those being radio directors, hosts, and both positions had knowledge scores on HPA law of 12.87 ± 3.40, 14.41 ± 3.49 and 15.60 ± 3.79 (from full score 26), respectively.  41.5%, 53.6% and 42.5% of subjects appropriately decided to advertise/not to advertise when being asked to consider 3 case studies on advertising, food, drugs and cosmetics, respectively. Only 10.1% of subjects had an appropriate decision to advertise/not to advertise in all 3 case studies. 1% of subject kept the records of broadcasted programs less than 45 days. 91.8% had the duration of advertising consistent to that stipulated by the law. 81.6% of subjects signed contract with hirers for advertising. Work experience was related to the decision to advertise/not to advertise food products (P=0.014). Conclusion: Many directors and radio hosts are unable to make decision on HPA that is abide to the law. Most factors examined in the studies do not relate to the decision to advertise/not to advertise health products. Therefore, more studies on this issue are needed.
