ประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมกระตุ้นสมรรถภาพสมองในผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองบกพร่องระยะต้น ในพื้นที่ตำบลเคียนซา อำเภอเคียนซา จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี

บทคัดย่อ

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผลของโปรแกรมกระตุ้นสมรรถภาพสมองในผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองบกพร่องระยะต้น (โปรแกรมฯ) ในพื้นที่ตำบลเคียนซา อำเภอเคียนซา จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี วิธีการ:การศึกษานี้เป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองในตัวอย่างกลุ่มเดียววัดผลที่มีการวัดผลก่อนและหลังการทดลอง กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองบกพร่องระยะต้น อายุระหว่าง 60-69 ปี ที่อาศัยอยู่ในเขตพื้นที่รับผิดชอบของโรงพยาบาลเคียนซา จำนวน 32 คน การศึกษานี้ดำเนินการตั้งแต่เดือนธันวาคม 2568 ถึงเดือนมีนาคม 2569 กิจกรรมหลักของโปรแกรมฯ ประกอบด้วย กิจกรรมกระตุ้นสมรรถภาพสมองด้านความใส่ใจ ด้านความจำ ด้านมิติสัมพันธ์ และด้านการคิดและการตัดสินใจ ตัวอย่างตอบแบบทดสอบความรู้เกี่ยวกับภาวะสมองเสื่อมและ the standardized Montreal Cognitive Assessment ก่อนและหลังการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมฯ เป็นระยะเวลา 4 สัปดาห์ ผลการศึกษา: คะแนนเฉลี่ยของความรู้เกี่ยวกับภาวะสมองเสื่อมหลังการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมสูงกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (5.69±1.23 และ 12.66±1.54 จากคะแนนเต็ม 15, P<0.001) คะแนนเฉลี่ยของสมรรถภาพสมองหลังการเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมสูงกว่าก่อนเข้าร่วมโปรแกรมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (18.44±0.72 และ 25.59±0.95 จากคะแนนเต็ม 30, P<0.001) สรุป: การได้รับโปรแกรมกระตุ้นสมรรถภาพสมองในผู้สูงอายุที่มีภาวะสมองบกพร่องระยะต้นมีความสัมพันธ์กับระดับความรู้เกี่ยวกับภาวะสมองเสื่อมและระดับสมรรถภาพสมองที่สูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ซึ่งสะท้อนให้เห็นว่า โปรแกรมฯ อาจมีส่วนช่วยส่งเสริมทั้งด้านความรู้และสมรรถภาพของสมองของผู้สูงอายุที่ภาวะสมองบกพร่องระยะต้น ทำให้สามารถดูแลตนเองและชะลอความเสื่อมของสมองในผู้สูงอายุได้
