การจัดการภาวะท้องร่วงเฉียบพลันในบริบทงานเภสัชกรรมชุมชน

บทคัดย่อ
เภสัชกรชุมชนมีบทบาทอย่างมากในการจัดการภาวะท้องร่วงเฉียบพลันในชุมชน เภสัชกรทำหน้าที่ซักประวัติ ขอให้ผู้ป่วยตรวจร่างกายด้วยตนเอง และประเมินภาวะขาดน้ำเพื่อให้มีข้อมูลมากพอสำหรับการพิจารณาจ่ายผงน้ำตาลเกลือแร่ให้เหมาะสมกับผู้ป่วยแบบเฉพาะราย การรักษาโดยการใช้ยาปฏิชีวนะมีที่ใช้จำกัด เนื่องจากสาเหตุส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากไวรัสและสารพิษจากเชื้อแบคทีเรีย สำหรับยาอื่น ๆ มีการใช้น้อย ยกเว้น มีความจำเป็นต้องหยุดถ่ายหรือมีอาการปวดท้องมาก อย่างไรก็ตาม ไม่ว่าจะใช้ยาใด ๆ จำเป็นต้องใช้ร่วมกับผงน้ำตาลเกลือแร่เสมอ
