บทคัดย่อ
การรักษาอาการด้วยยาหยอดตาเป็นการรักษาพื้นฐานสำหรับโรคตาซึ่งต้องบริหารยาด้วยวิธีที่ถูกต้อง จากการทบทวนวรรณกรรมพบว่า ขั้นตอนการหยอดตาที่แนะนำในปัจจุบันโดยหน่วยงานระดับชาติทั้งในและต่างประเทศ สามารถนำมาใช้ปรับปรุงวิธีบริหารยาหยอดตาให้ดีขึ้นได้ เช่น การจัดการฝาครอบขวดยาหลังเปิดใช้งาน การจัดองศาของดวงตาขณะบริหารยา และการเตรียมดวงตาก่อนบริหารยา เป็นต้น หลักฐานเชิงประจักษ์ในปัจจุบันระบุว่า การใช้เครื่องมือช่วยบริหารยาอาจไม่ได้ช่วยให้บริหารยาหยอดตาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิผลเสมอไป การเตรียมดวงตาก่อนบริหารยาโดยดึงหนังตาลงมาเป็นกระพุ้งเป็นขั้นตอนสำคัญที่ต้องแนะนำให้ผู้ป่วยทุกรายปฏิบัติไม่ว่าจะใช้หรือไม่ใช้เครื่องช่วยบริหารยา
