ผลการพัฒนาศักยภาพของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน ในเรื่องร้านชำคุณภาพซึ่งปลอดยาห้ามจำหน่าย

บทคัดย่อ

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อประเมินผลการพัฒนาศักยภาพของอาสาสมัครสาธารณสุขประจำหมู่บ้าน (อสม.) ในเรื่องร้านชำคุณภาพซึ่งปลอดยาห้ามจำหน่าย วิธีการ: การศึกษาเป็นการวิจัยกึ่งทดลองแบบสองกลุ่มซึ่งวัดผลก่อนและหลังการให้สิ่งทดลอง กลุ่มศึกษา คือ อสม. ในตำบลกำพวน อำเภอสุขสำราญ จังหวัดระนอง จำนวน 30 ราย ที่ได้รับการพัฒนาศักยภาพให้เป็น อสม.คุ้มครองผู้บริโภคด้านยาและสุขภาพ (อสม. หมอยาอาสา) ด้วยการอบรมให้ความรู้เรื่องยา ประกอบด้วยความรู้เกี่ยวกับประเภทของยาตามกฎหมาย ยาห้ามจำหน่ายในร้านชำตามพระราชบัญญัติยา พ.ศ. 2510 และบทลงโทษ การอบรมยังประกอบด้วยการปฏิบัติการจริงในพื้นที่ กลุ่มควบคุมเป็น อสม. ในตำบลนาคา จำนวน 30 คน ที่ปฏิบัติงานตามปกติ การศึกษาวัดความรู้ ทัศนคติ และการปฏิบัติงานคุ้มครองผู้บริโภคด้านยาและสุขภาพด้วยแบบสอบถาม ผลการวิจัย: หลังการให้สิ่งทดลอง กลุ่มทดลองมีค่าเฉลี่ยความรู้มากกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (15.47±4.48 และ 10.50±2.62 จากคะแนนเต็ม 20 ตามลำดับ, P<0.001) ทัศนคติก่อนและหลังการศึกษาของทั้งสองกลุ่มไม่มีความแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P=0.950) กลุ่มทดลองมีการปฏิบัติงานฯ มากกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (4.04±0.52 และ 3.73±0.59 จากคะแนนเต็ม 5, P=0.034) สรุป: การพัฒนาศักยภาพของ อสม. ในประเด็นร้านชำคุณภาพซึ่งปลอดยาห้ามจำหน่ายทำให้ความรู้และการปฏิบัติ ของ อสม. เพิ่มขึ้นในกลุ่มทดลอง แต่ไม่พบความแตกต่างของทัศนคติ การวิจัยในอนาคตควรศึกษาเพิ่มเติมในระยะที่ยาวขึ้นและเก็บผลลัพธ์คือจำนวนร้านชำที่ปลอดยาห้ามจำหน่าย
