Abstract

Edentulous patients and received full dentures may experience problems with the dentures in the lower jaw becoming loose, lacking fixation, and lacking stability, resulting in reduced effectiveness of chewing food. Improving the retention of dentures by using dental implants in the lower jaw would result in better chewing ability for patients, increased satisfaction with denture effectiveness, greater confidence in speaking and pronunciation, improved social interaction, and ultimately a better quality of life. This report was to provide a treatment option for mandibular complete denture supported by two dental implants in mandibular ridge with abutment connections to retain and stabilize lower complete denture. Following treatment and ongoing follow-up, it was found that patients could effectively and satisfactorily use their dentures for chewing food. This information will serve as a guideline for dentists and provide treatment options for patients
