Point of Care Glucose Testing (POC Glucose); A Point of Care Testing which is a health care service for patients who register at Bang Krathum Hospital. Portable blood glucose meters (BGM), model Accu-CHEK® Performa were applied for study the quality of BMG using two levels of glucose control materials (low and high level) by the Department of Medical Technology. Both of glucose control materials were sent to patient care units and then analyzed by users at the same time each month from October 1, 2020 to September 30, 2021. The data were analyzed for accuracy (%Bias < 5), precision (%CV < 5), and standard deviation index (SDI ≤ ±2). The results showed that all BGM accepted the whole criteria for accuracy (%Bias < 5%), precision (%CV < 5%), and standard deviation index (SDI ≤ ±2). In conclusion, the BGM; model Accu-CHEK® Performa, is an effective instrument available in all patient care units of Bang Krathum Hospital
