การพยากรณ์โอกาสเสี่ยงการเกิดภาวะอ้วนที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการบริโภคเครื่องดื่มที่มีรสหวานและการออกกำลังกายของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัย

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยเชิงวิเคราะห์แบบภาคตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาภาวะอ้วน การบริโภคเครื่องดื่มรสหวาน และการออกกำลังกายที่เป็นโอกาสเสี่ยงในการเกิดภาวะอ้วนของนักศึกษามหาวิทยาลัย จำนวน 146 คน ดำเนินการตั้งแต่มกราคม 2567 - มีนาคม 2568 ด้วย 4 กระบวนการหลัก โดยใช้เครื่องมือ 4 ประเภท ได้แก่ เครื่องชั่งน้ำหนัก ที่วัดส่วนสูง แบบสอบถามการบริโภคเครื่องดื่มที่มีรสหวานและการออกกำลังกาย แบบบันทึกการบริโภคเครื่องดื่มที่มีรสหวาน วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติไค-สแควร์ และการวิเคราะห์แบบถดถอยโลจิสติก

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิงร้อยละ 81.51 อายุเฉลี่ยเท่ากับ 20 ปี ร้อยละ 29.43 มีภาวะอ้วน โดยพบว่า นักศึกษาที่บริโภคเครื่องดื่มที่มีรสหวานตั้งแต่ 2 วันต่อสัปดาห์ขึ้นไป มีโอกาสเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะอ้วนเป็น 2.92 เท่า เมื่อเทียบกับผู้ที่บริโภคน้อยกว่า 2 วันต่อสัปดาห์ และกลุ่มที่บริโภคน้ำตาลเกิน 24 กรัมต่อวัน มีโอกาสเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะอ้วนเป็น 2.36 เท่า เมื่อเทียบกับกลุ่มที่บริโภคไม่เกิน 24 กรัม โดยเฉพาะกลุ่มที่ออกกำลังกายน้อยกว่า 3 วันต่อสัปดาห์ มีโอกาสเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดภาวะอ้วนเป็น 3.33 เท่าของกลุ่มที่ออกกำลังกายเพียงพออย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ

การวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่า ปัจจัยเสี่ยงที่ทำให้นักศึกษามีโอกาสเสี่ยงสูงสุดต่อการเกิดภาวะอ้วนมีทั้งหมด 3 ปัจจัยสำคัญ ได้แก่ การออกกำลังกายไม่เพียงพอ การบริโภคเครื่องดื่มที่มีรสหวานเป็นประจำ และ การบริโภคน้ำตาลเกินเกณฑ์ ตามลำดับ โดยนักศึกษา 1 ใน 4 ของกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีภาวะอ้วน ซึ่งส่วนหนึ่งมาจากการขาดการออกกำลังกายและชอบดื่มเครื่องดื่มที่มีรสหวานเป็นประจำ โดยเฉพาะเครื่องดื่มที่มีส่วนผสมของคาเฟอีน ดังนั้น การพัฒนาโปรแกรมการสร้างเสริมสุขภาพโดยการนำเทคโนโลยีที่เหมาะสมมาประยุกต์ใช้กับกลุ่มวัยนี้ให้มากขึ้น จะช่วยกระตุ้นความสนใจสำหรับสร้างความรู้ ความตระหนัก เพื่อให้กลุ่มเหล่านี้สามารถจัดการสุขภาพตนเองเพื่อป้องกันภาวะอ้วนได้ด้วยตนเองต่อไป
