บทคัดย่อ
โรคมะเร็งเป็นปัญหาสาธารณสุขที่สำคัญ และเป็นสาเหตุการเสียชีวิตที่สำคัญของประชากรทั่วโลก การวิจัยเชิงวิเคราะห์แบบภาคตัดขวาง (cross-sectional analytical study) ครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความต้องการใช้กัญชาทางการแพทย์ของผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งที่มารับบริการในหน่วยเคมีบำบัด โรงพยาบาลสวรรค์ประชารักษ์ จังหวัดนครสวรรค์ กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งที่มารับบริการในหน่วยเคมีบำบัด โรงพยาบาลสวรรค์ประชารักษ์ที่มีอายุตั้งแต่ 18 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 214 ราย โดยสุ่มกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน เครื่องมือการวิจัยในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลของผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็ง 2) แบบสอบถามการสนับสนุนทางสังคม 3) แบบสอบถามทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับการใช้กัญชาทางการแพทย์ 4) แบบทดสอบความรู้เกี่ยวกับการกัญชาทางการแพทย์ 5) แบบสอบถามความรอบรู้ด้านการใช้กัญชาทางการแพทย์ และ 6) แบบสอบถามความต้องการใช้กัญชาทางการแพทย์ของผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็ง เครื่องมือทั้งหมดผ่านผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิมีค่าความตรงตามเนื้อหา เท่ากับ 0.97 และมีค่าความเชื่อมั่น เท่ากับ 0.88 0.86 0.81 0.75 และ 0.94 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยค่าความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และการวิเคราะห์ถดถอยพหุโลจิสติก (Multiple logistic regression)
ผลการวิจัย พบว่า ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความต้องการใช้กัญชาทางการแพทย์ของผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็ง ได้แก่ 1) ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพ (ORadj=6.50; 95% CI: 3.14 to 13.45) 2) ทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับกัญชาทางการแพทย์ (ORadj=5.88; 95% CI: 2.52 to 13.68) 3) การสนับสนุนทางสังคม (ORadj= 4.95; 95% CI: 2.29 to 10.66) 4) ความรู้เกี่ยวกับกัญชาทางการแพทย์ (ORadj= 3.32; 95% CI: 1.27 to 8.62) และ 5) เพศ (ORadj=2.56; 95% CI: 1.23 to 5.33) ตามลำดับ จึงควรจัดทำโปรแกรมเสริมสร้างความรอบรู้ด้านการใช้กัญชาทางการแพทย์ ควบคู่กับการส่งเสริมให้ผู้ป่วยมีทัศนคติที่ดี และมีความรู้ที่ถูกต้องสำหรับใช้กัญชาทางการแพทย์รักษาโรคมะเร็งต่อไป
