Personal Attributes and Administrative Factors Affecting to Preventing and Solving Drug Abuse Public Health Personel at Sub-District Health Promoting Hospital in Nakhon Ratchasima Province
Abstract
This is a cross sectional descriptive research aimed to study the personal attributes and administrative factors affecting drug prevention and solving of public health personnel at sub-district health promoting hospital. The samples were 186 health personnel randomly selected by systematic random sampling from 346 population. Data was collected both quantitative and qualitative data. Focus group guidelines was use to collect the data from 12 people’s key informants who can provide intensive information on the topics Tested for reliability in pilot study Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient 0.96. ata collected between June 1sh to June 15th, 2018. The data distribution was performed by descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, median, minimum, maximum. The Inferential statistics were Pearson’s product moment correlation and Stepwise multiple linear regression. The level of statistical significant was set at 0.05. And guidelines for group discussion using qualitative data collection methods using questionnaires as open-ended questions Data analysis Is a classification of suggestions.
The results showe that the administrative factors affecting drug preventing and solving of health personal were found at moderate level with averages score of 3.27 (S.D.=0.61). While performance factors level on drug prevention and solving of health personal was found at high level with averages score of 3.60 (S.D.=0.63). The sex variable had low negative relationship with drug prevention and solving of health personal (r= -0.238, p-value=0.001) and the administrative factors variable had high relationship with drug prevention and solving of health personal (r=0.725, p-value< 0.001), respectively. Two administrative factor variables; management and time variable: could join predict the drug prevention and solving of health personal at 63.2 percent. (R2=0.632, p-value<0.001).
