Article Processing Charges

No fees are charged for article submission, peer review, manuscript revision, or publication in the KKU Journal for Public Health Research until 30 August 2026.

Publication fee payments for articles submitted through the online system will be effective from September 1, 2026, onwards.

 

Article Processing Charge (APC)

KKU Journal of Public Health Research charges an Article Processing Charge (APC) for all manuscripts submitted for publication consideration. The APC details are as follows:

Publication Fee

  1. Thai-language manuscripts: THB 3,500 per article for both internal and external authors.
  2. English-language manuscripts: THB 3,500 per article for both internal and external authors.

Payment Schedule

The APC shall be paid in two installments, as detailed below:

First Installment

Amount: THB 2,500

Due when: After the manuscript has passed the initial editorial screening and before it is sent to external reviewers for peer review.

Authors are required to complete payment within the specified deadline. Failure to make payment on time may result in a delay in the peer-review process and subsequent editorial procedures.

Second Installment

Amount: THB 1,000

Due when: After the manuscript has successfully passed the peer-review process and has been approved for acceptance by the Editorial Board.

Authors must complete payment within the specified deadline. Failure to pay by the due date will be deemed as the author's decision to withdraw the manuscript from publication consideration.

After completing the payment, authors must upload the following documents via the Discussion section in the online journal system under their manuscript submission:

Important Notes

  1. The APC policy shall apply to all manuscripts submitted through the online journal system on or after 1 September 2026 onward.
  2. All APC payments are non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to: accepted manuscripts, rejected manuscripts, or manuscript withdrawal by the author.
  3. Authors must make payment only after receiving an official notification from the Editorial Office of KKU Journal of Public Health Research.
  4. The Letter of Acceptance will be issued only after the second installment has been paid in full.
