Ovarian cancer is a highly lethal gynecologic cancer, and its incidence and mortality rates in the world are increasing. Previous studies have shown that several factors are associated with increased risk of ovarian cancer and also prognostic factors that are associated with survival. But, currently had improved standard of care and screening for ovarian cancer. Thus, survival analysis was significant for evaluation of effectiveness campaigned and standard of cancer care. Methods: A retrospective cohort analysis was performed on 630 patients diagnosed between 2005 to 2015 were identified Population-based cancer registry in Khon Kaen province, Thailand, (ICD-O, C56) and ended at the date of death, or end of study follow-up (December 31, 2016). Survival curves were estimated by the Kaplan-Meier method, Log rank test was used for comparison groups. A Cox proportional hazard regression was used to calculate the hazard ratios of death. Results: All 630 ovarian cancer patients found that demographic characteristics All female patients with a median age of 52 years (SD±15.62). Overall, 258 patients died during the study, corresponding to mortality (Case-fatality) rate of 26.3 per 100 person-years(95% CI: 24.2-28.4). The Observe survival rate at1,3and5years after diagnosis were 75.9% (95% CI: 72.34-79.02), 47.1% (95% CI: 43.20-50.98) and 30.3% (95% CI: 26.67-33.93)respectively. The median survival time was2.76 years (95% CI: 2.43–3.09). In the multivariable analysis, 4 prognostic indicators significant in predicting a worse overall survival was age group 70-79 years (HRadj=2.07, 95% CI: 1.32-3.32) Stage IV (HRadj= 2.03, 95% CI: 1.57-2.64), Stage III (HR adj=1.98, 95% CI: 1.53-2.58) and not treated with surgery (HRadj=1.52, 95%CI: 1.16-2.02). Conclusion: Old age and advanced-stage ovarian cancer has a poor prognosis the result indicated the need to develop screening program and standardized treatment regimens in health care system.
