Abstract

This study was a descriptive cross-sectional study. The aimed to study
about knowledge, attitudes, perception by the consumption of raw fish and
Behaviors of the liver fluke among screened people for liver fluke in
bansonghong, Rongkham sub-district Kalasin province amount 83 persons.
Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics including percentage, arithmetic
mean, standard deviation the minimum and maximum value.
The study found that screened people for liver fluke. Most were female
51.81%, aged 46-55 years 32.53%, married 79.52%. Of the fish from public
water sources in the community. Eat fish from public water sources in the
community 98.80%. Ever get the information Opisthorchiasis 100.00%. Most
of them received information of patients with a history of liver fluke from
health officials 80.72%. Patients with a history of liver disease. Knowledge
of the liver fluke is moderate 67.47%. Attitudes about preventing liver flukeis
high 71.08%. Perception by the consumption of raw fish is high 87.95%. The
behavior of liver disease is high 81.93%.
The recommendations from the study of training program to educate
the public about the symptoms of Opisthorchiasis Including the prevention
and treatment of Opisthorchiasis. And Intervention program or project training
on the modification knowledge and attitude is not valid in the consumption
of create a positive knowledge and attitude in the consumption of food to
the public.
