Abstract

The assessment of choosing red‐lime innovation to eliminate Aedes Aegypti lavas is
the research supporting Routine to Research (R2R). It is a cross‐sectional survey
research. The qualitative data was collected by interviewing. The participants were
143 family health leaders. The data was analyzed using descriptive statistics,
numbers and percentage and using average, standard deviation, median, maximum
and minimum. The results of the study were as follows. 69.23 percent of the
participants were female and the other 30.77 were male. Their ages arranged from
14 to 77 years old. The average year was 48.2 years old (SD=13.13 years). Their
mainly marital status was married 69.93 percent and 17.48 percent was
widowhood. Mostly, their roles in the community were family health leaders, 79.74
percent. Three in four participants were agriculturists. Their monthly income
ranged from 2,000 to 20,000 baht (Median: 5,000 baht). Their highest education
level was primary school, 69.23 percent. In the aspect of choosing red‐lime
innovation, the results showed that the participants chose high level of the
innovation especially technology and resource, 74.83 percent and 71.33 percent
respectively. The low level of choosing innovation was related to innovation and the
cooperation between branches and projects, 2.80 percent and 0.70 percent
respectively. According to the performance dealing with community health, there
should be some innovations which help promoting health and support the work
performance of public health institutes in the community.
