About the Journal

Aims and Scope

KKU Journal for Public Health Research, Khon Kaen University, aims to publish high-quality academic articles, original research articles, and special articles in the fields of public health and health sciences. The journal covers a wide range of disciplines, including Environmental Health Sciences, Occupational Health and Safety, Health Education and Health Promotion, Public Health Administration, Biostatistics and Demography, Epidemiology, and Nutrition.

The journal serves as a platform for disseminating academic knowledge to its primary target groups, namely faculty members, students, and researchers from both inside and outside the institution.

Peer Review Process

All submitted manuscripts are subject to a double-blind peer review process.

Manuscripts submitted by authors from both within and outside the institution responsible for publishing the journal must undergo a quality assessment by qualified peer reviewers with relevant expertise and no conflicts of interest with the authors. The review process is conducted as follows:

- For manuscripts submitted by authors within the publishing institution, the articles are reviewed by three external peer reviewers from various institutions who have no conflicts of interest with the authors.

-For manuscripts submitted by authors outside the publishing institution, the articles are reviewed by two external peer reviewers from various institutions and one internal peer reviewer from the publishing institution, all of whom have no conflicts of interest with the authors, totaling three reviewers.

All articles, opinions, and concepts published in KKU Journal for Public Health Research are the sole responsibility of the authors.


Language of Publication

Manuscripts may be submitted and published in Thai or English.


Publication Frequency

The journal is published three issues per year, with each issue covering four months, as follows:

  • Issue 1: January – April
  • Issue 2: May – August
  • Issue 3: September – December
