ความรู้ ทัศนคติ และความพร้อมของเภสัชกรชุมชนในประเทศไทย ในการให้บริการบำบัดแบบสั้นสำหรับผู้ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อสำรวจความรู้ ทัศนคติ และความพร้อมของเภสัชกรชุมชนในการบำบัดแบบสั้นสำหรับผู้ดื่มเครื่องดื่มแอลกอฮอล์ (Alcohol Brief Intervention: ABI) และค้นหาปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อความพร้อมต่อ ABI วิธีการ: ตัวอย่างเป็นเภสัชกรชุมชนในร้านยาจำนวน 524 แห่งที่สุ่มเลือกมาอย่างง่ายมาจากประชากรร้านยาแผนปัจจุบันที่เป็นร้านยาเดี่ยวทั้งประเทศ การศึกษาส่งจดหมายเชิญชวนให้ร่วมการวิจัยผ่านทางไปรษณีย์ และรวบรวมข้อมูลต่างๆ ผ่านแบบสอบถามชนิดตอบเองได้แก่ ข้อมูลลักษณะทั่วไป ความรู้ ทัศนคติ ความพร้อมต่อการให้บริการ ABI และค่าตอบแทนที่เหมาะสม ผลการวิจัย: ตัวอย่างตอบแบบสอบถามกลับจำนวน 263 ราย (ร้อยละ 50.2) และผู้วิจัยเก็บข้อมูลจากตัวอย่างรายใหม่เพิ่มเติมอีกจำนวน 30 รายเพื่อให้ครบจำนวนขนาดตัวอย่างขั้นต่ำที่ต้องการ 293 ราย ร้านยาที่ตัวอย่างปฏิบัติงานร้อยละ 23.5 ได้รับการขึ้นทะเบียนเป็นร้านยาคุณภาพโดยสภาเภสัชกรรม ค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความรู้เกี่ยวกับ ABI เท่ากับ 4.42 (SD=2.78) (คะแนนเต็ม 12) ค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนทัศนคติต่อ ABI เท่ากับ 3.51 (SD=0.65) (คะแนนเต็ม 5) ค่าเฉลี่ยของคะแนนความพร้อมต่อ ABI เท่ากับ 1.80 (SD=1.66) (คะแนนเต็ม 5) โดยมีความพร้อมมากที่สุดในด้านระบบสารสนเทศ (ร้อยละ 48.1 ของตัวอย่าง) การอบรมออนไลน์ (ร้อยละ 47.8) และ การขึ้นทะเบียนบริการและเปิดบริการได้ทุกวัน (ร้อยละ 46.1) โดยมีพร้อมด้านความรู้เกี่ยวกับ ABI ร้อยละ16.4 และด้านทักษะเกี่ยวกับ ABI ร้อยละ 21.5 ทั้งความรู้และทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับ ABI เป็นปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับระดับความพร้อมต่อการให้บริการ ABI อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ โดย odds ratio ของความรู้เกี่ยวกับ ABI เท่ากับ 1.14 (P =0.02; 95%CI 1.02 - 1.27) และของทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับ ABI เท่ากับ 4.45 (P <0.001; 95%CI 2.56 - 7.92) สรุป: เภสัชกรชุมชนมีความรู้เกี่ยวกับ ABI ยังไม่เพียงพอและมีความพร้อมเกี่ยวกับ ABI ต่ำ แม้ว่าทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับ ABI จะเป็นบวก อีกทั้งความรู้และทัศนคติต่อ ABI เป็นปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความพร้อมของเภสัชกรชุมชนในการให้บริการ ABI อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ จึงจำเป็นต้องเสริมสร้างความรู้และทัศนคติเกี่ยวกับ ABI เพื่อศักยภาพและความพร้อมให้เภสัชกรชุมชนสามารถให้บริการ ABI ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
