ผลการให้ความรู้โดยเภสัชกรแก่ผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่บ้าน

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลการให้ความรู้แก่ผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่บ้านโดยเภสัชกร วิธีวิจัย: การวิจัยนี้เป็นการศึกษาเชิงทดลองเชิงสุ่มแบบมีกลุ่มควบคุมที่เก็บข้อมูลไปข้างหน้า ตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่บ้าน จำนวน 57 ราย ผู้วิจัยสุ่มตัวอย่างออกเป็นกลุ่มควบคุมและกลุ่มทดลอง กลุ่มควบคุม (29 ราย) คือ ผู้ดูแลที่มารับบริการตามปกติพร้อมกับผู้ป่วยที่โรงพยาบาล กลุ่มทดลอง (28 ราย) คือ ผู้ดูแลที่ได้รับความรู้เรื่องโรคจิตเภท การรักษา และยา ร่วมกับคู่มือการดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทครั้งเดียวในวันเยี่ยมบ้านครั้งแรกโดยเภสัชกร ผู้วิจัยเก็บข้อมูล 3 ครั้ง คือ ก่อนและหลังการให้ความรู้ 1 เดือน และ 3 เดือน ผลการศึกษา: ก่อนการศึกษาข้อมูลทั่วไปของผู้ดูแลทั้ง 2 กลุ่มไม่แตกต่างกัน (p>0.05) ผู้ดูแลส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศหญิง มีความสัมพันธ์เป็นมารดาของผู้ป่วย และอายุเฉลี่ยเทากับ 52.04±13.09 ปี หลังการแทรกแซงในเดือนที่ 1 และ 3 พบว่า กลุ่มทดลองมีความรู้มากกว่ากลุ่มควบคุมอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P=0.005 และ P< 0.001 ตามลำดับ) คุณภาพชีวิตดีกว่าอย่างมีนัยสำคัญในเดือนที่ 3 (P=0.017) และภาระการดูแลน้อยกว่าอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ.oเดือนที่ 1 และ 3 (P=0.012 และ P=0.008 ตามลำดับ) เมื่อเปรียบเทียบก่อนและหลังการศึกษาในกลุ่มทดลอง พบว่า เดือนที่ 1 และ 3 ผู้ดูแลมีความรู้เพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P<0.001 ทั้ง 2 ช่วงเวลา) มีภาระการดูแลลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P=0.033 และ P=0.008 ตามลำดับ) คุณภาพชีวิตเพิ่มขึ้นในเดือนที่ 3 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญ (P=0.003) และมีความเครียดลดลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญในเดือนที่ 3 (P=0.024) ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุม พบว่า มีความรู้เพิ่มขึ้นทั้งในเดือนที่ 1 และ 3 (P<0.001 และ P=0.001 ตามลำดับ) แต่คุณภาพชีวิตและความเครียดไม่แตกต่างจากก่อนการศึกษา (P >0.05) และพบว่ามีภาระการดูแลเพิ่มขึ้นทั้งในเดือนที่ 1 และ 3 (P=0.013 และ P=0.033 ตามลำดับ) สรุป: การให้ความรู้โดยเภสัชกรแก่ผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทโดยการเยี่ยมบ้าน มีผลทำให้ผู้ดูแลมีความรู้และคุณภาพชีวิตเพิ่มขึ้น ภาระการดูแลและความเครียดลดลงเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับผู้ดูแลที่ไม่ได้รับการแทรกแซง
