Examination Room Scheduling Using Ant Algorithms

Abstract

This paper provides a design method to schedule the exam room of the Eastern Asia University by applying the algorithm to analyze and design the systems in the exam room arrangement for the courses according to the automated exam schedule. The analysis is taking into account the number of courses that monitored in each period. The number of students enrolled in the course and the number of seats in each examination room, which are based on the food sources of ants that try to find the path from the nest to the food source and use the shortest distance. The Ant algorithm is used to solve the most suitable for the develop a good answer according to the requirements of the appropriate conditions. The results of this research can help to schedule the exam room to be encountered under the above conditions.
