บทคัดย่อ

วัยรุ่นเป็นช่วงของการเปลี่ยนแปลงที่สำคัญทั้งด้านร่างกาย จิตใจ อารมณ์ และสังคม ประกอบกับในปัจจุบัน สื่อสังคมออนไลน์มีบทบาทอย่างมากในชีวิตประจำวันของเด็กและเยาวชน การศึกษานี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา รูปแบบการใช้สื่อออนไลน์ การกลั่นแกล้งทางออนไลน์ และความสัมพันธ์กับอาการซึมเศร้าในเด็กและเยาวชนไทย โดยเก็บข้อมูลผ่านแบบสอบถามออนไลน์เป็นระยะเวลา 10 เดือนจากกลุ่มตัวอย่าง 12,284 คน ครอบคลุมทุกจังหวัด ของประเทศไทย ประเมินอาการซึมเศร้าด้วยแบบประเมิน Children's Depression Inventory (CDI) โดยใช้คะแนน ตั้งแต่ 15 คะแนนขึ้นไปเป็นเกณฑ์บ่งชี้อาการซึมเศร้า ผลการศึกษาพบว่าเด็กและเยาวชนที่ใช้สื่อออนไลน์นานกว่า 2 ชั่วโมงต่อวันและผู้ที่เคยถูกกลั่นแกล้งทางออนไลน์มีโอกาสพบอาการซึมเศร้าสูงขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.001) โดยกลุ่มที่เคยเป็นทั้งผู้ถูกกระทำและผู้กระทำการกลั่นแกล้งทางออนไลน์มีโอกาสพบอาการซึมเศร้า สูงที่สุด ผลการศึกษานี้ชี้ให้เห็นความสำคัญของการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัว โรงเรียน ชุมชน และสังคม รวมถึง การส่งเสริมทักษะการรู้เท่าทันสื่อและการใช้สื่อออนไลน์อย่างปลอดภัย เพื่อลดผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพจิตของเด็กและ เยาวชน
