การแก้ไขฟันเขี้ยวบนฝังด้วยการรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟัน : รายงานผู้ป่วย
การแก้ไขฟันเขี้ยวบนฝัง

ฟันเขี้ยวบนฝังพบได้บ่อย โดยพบอุบัติการณ์ร้อยละ 1-2 พบในเพศหญิงมากกว่าเพศชายสองเท่า พบด้านเพดานและริมฝีปากร้อยละ 85 และ 15 ตามลำดับ แนวทางในการรักษามีตั้งแต่การรักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันร่วมกับการผ่าตัดเพื่อติดอุปกรณ์ดึงฟันเขี้ยวฝังขึ้นมา หรือการผ่าเอาฟันเขี้ยวฝังออก รายงานผู้ป่วยฉบับนี้เป็นกรณีศึกษาที่ได้รักษาทางทันตกรรมจัดฟันโดยใช้เครื่องมือจัดฟันชนิดติดแน่นร่วมกับการผ่าตัดเพื่อดึงฟันเขี้ยวบนขวาฝังขึ้นมาในผู้ป่วยหญิงไทยอายุ 14 ปีที่มีฟันเขี้ยวบนขวาฝังด้านริมฝีปากและมีฟันเขี้ยวน้ำนมขวาคงค้างอยู่ในช่องปาก ผลการรักษาได้ผลสำเร็จที่ดี สามารถดึงฟันเขี้ยวบนขวาฝังขึ้นมาเรียงในตำแหน่งปกติ ฟันเรียงเป็นระเบียบสวยงาม การสบฟันที่ดีและมีเสถียรภาพ ระยะเวลาการรักษา 4 ปีและติดตามระยะการคงสภาพฟัน 1 ปี
