Endodontic treatment of teeth associated with periapical lesions

Periapical lesions are caused by bacterial infection in root canal and lead to periapical tissueInflammation and destruction. Eliminate bacteria, bacterial product and infected dentine by chemo-mechanical root canal preparation and intracanal medication are treatment guidline of periapical lesions. Good quality root canal obturation and proper restoration are prevent re-infection in root canal. Periodic recall is needed to evaluate lesion healing. This article reports treatment guidline of anterior tooth associated with large cyst-like lesion more than 10 mm. in size and successful treatment of molar tooth associated with periapical lesion less than 10 mm. in size
