ความพึงพอใจต่อการใช้ลูกประคบสมุนไพรสดสูตรเกลือ: Satisfaction towards Salt Herbal Compress Ball

บทคัดย่อ

Thai traditional medicine used herbal compress ball to treat patients due to the benefit of herbs and heat. This quasi-experimental research had aimed to compare heat retention of 6 formulas of fresh herbal compress ball combined with salt and to study satisfaction towards Phetchaburi Rajabhat University (PBRU) Herbal Compress Ball’ recipe at Thai Traditional Medicine Clinic, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University. The results showed that 6 formulas had statistical significance different temperature (p < 0.001). The formula 3 of PBRU herbal compress ball which was a fresh herbal compress ball with salt 10.0 percent (25.0 grams) had good heat retention and high stability.The data of 15 subjects who are Thai traditional practitioner and Thai traditional medicine assistant were collected by interviews.The results showed that 93.3 percent of personals thought that a fresh herbal compress ball of Thai Traditional Medicine Clinic of PBRU had heat retention 5-15 minute. After usage of the herbal compress ball, 80.0 percent of them thought that PBRU herbal compress ball has heat retention 15-25 minute. All of them had very high satisfaction including an invariability of heat retention of PBRU herbal compress ball, an invariability of heat on skin and feeling after using PBRU herbal compress ball. Therefore, PBRU herbal compress ball with 10% salt had stable heat retention and the medical personals were very satisfied with the usage of this herbal ball.
