การประเมินความสัมพันธ์ของส่วนโค้งแนวฟัน ของผู้ป่วยภาวะปากแหว่งและเพดานโหว่แบบสมบูรณ์เพียงด้านเดียว: The Assessment of Dental Arch Relationship in Patients with Complete Unilateral Cleft Lip and Palate

บทคัดย่อ

GOSLON index is the reliable and acceptable method in evaluation of the dental  arch relationships of patients with unilateral cleft lip and palate (UCLP).This descriptive etrospective research aimed to evaluate the dental arch relationship in ULCP patients with GOSLON index. The reliability of the researchers was evalutted with Kappa statistics. The intra- and interexaminer agreements evaluated by Kappa statistics were 0.86, indicating very good. The results showed that in the year 2011-2016, there were 96 patients, aged 8-11 years, included in this study. The dental arch relationship of the patients were classified by GOSLON index asgroup 1-4.2%, group 2-8.3%, group 3-10.4%, group 4-52.1% and group 5-25.0%.In conclusion,the dental arch relationships in patients with UCLP were poor.The result may be arised fromrelated factors consisted in treatment protocol, surgical technique and skill and experience of surgeons. Further studies are required to clarify the problems and use as a guideline to develop and improve treatment protocol in Thai UCLP.
