Effects of the Implementation of Coaching on the Renal Level and Quality of Life of HIV/AIDS Patients in the Primary Care and Holistic Care Unit, Chai Badan Hospital, Lopburi Province

Abstract

quality of life before and after the implementation of coaching in HIV-infected/AIDS patients. A sample of 60 HIV/AIDS patients were recruited from August 2023-April 2024, randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group with 30 patients each. The samples of both groups had similar qualifications: gender, age, education level and health conditions. Tools used to collect data included a questionnaire for collecting general information and an assessment of quality of life. Statistics used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, dependent t-test and independent t-test.

The research results revealed that after implementing coaching using Hass Guidance Concept (HASS), the experimental group had lower kidney values ​​ than the control group, and the glomerular filtration values were higher than the control group. The average quality of life score was higher than the control group, with a significance difference of p<.05.

In summary, the results of the study showed that the application of the Hass Guidance Scheme (HASS). could improve the average kidney level score, glomerular filtration values, and patients’ quality of lifeTherefore, coaching was recommended in further studies.
