การพยาบาลผู้ป่วยผ่าตัดมะเร็งต่อมไทรอยด์ที่มีภาวะการหายใจล้มเหลวเฉียบพลัน

Abstract

CA Thyroid is cancer that develops from the tissues of the thyroid gland. It is a disease in which cells grow abnormally and have the potential to spread to other parts of the body. Symptoms can include swelling or a lump in the neck. Treatment options may include radiation therapy including radioactive iodine, chemotherapy, thyroid hormone, targeted therapy, and surgery : thyroidectomy. After surgery postoperative complications are respiratory problem, blood loss, thyroid crisis, hypocalcemia, wound infection and laryngeal nerve paralysis.

A case study of 52 year-old Thai female patient known case of CA thyroid  admit to Singburi  Hospital for surgery. Total  thyroidectomy was done and both of thyroid glands were sent for pathology.  At ENT ward she had been monitoring for  postoperative complications; respiratory problem, blood loss, hypocalcemia, thyroid crisis,  wound infection and laryngeal nerve paralysis.
