Roles and Responsibilities of the Editor

  1. The Editor is responsible for evaluating the quality of submitted manuscripts and providing constructive comments and recommendations to authors in order to improve the manuscripts and ensure that they meet academic standards for publication.

  2. The Editor must not disclose any information regarding the authors or reviewers during the manuscript review process.

  3. The Editor must have no conflicts of interest with the authors or reviewers.

  4. The Editor is responsible for ensuring that all submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism.

  5. The Editor makes the final decision on whether a manuscript should be accepted for publication after completion of the peer-review process, based on its academic contribution, significance, clarity, reliability, and consistency with the aims and scope of the journal.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Author

  1. Authors must prepare and submit manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines and formatting requirements.

  2. Authors must certify that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published and is not under consideration by another journal. For studies involving human participants, approval from an appropriate Human Research Ethics Committee must be provided.

  3. Authors must present research findings truthfully and accurately, without data fabrication or falsification.

  4. Authors must properly acknowledge and cite the works of others when such works are used in their manuscripts.

  5. Authors must revise their manuscripts according to the comments and recommendations of the editorial board and reviewers. If any suggestions cannot be addressed, authors must provide a written explanation with reasonable justification along with the revised manuscript.

  6. Authors must submit the revised manuscript within the timeframe specified by the journal.

  7. Authors must provide ethical approval documentation if the manuscript involves research conducted on human subjects.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Reviewer

  1. Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts objectively based on academic merit and must not allow personal opinions to influence their assessment.

  2. Reviewers should review manuscripts only within their areas of expertise.

  3. Reviewers must declare any conflicts of interest and must not review manuscripts in which such conflicts exist.

  4. Reviewers must not use information obtained from the peer-review process for personal benefit.

  5. Reviewers must maintain confidentiality and must not disclose any information about the submitted manuscript to individuals who are not involved in the review process during the evaluation period.
