Abstract

            The cross-sectional survey research aimed to study the needs and predicting factors of reproductive health service needs of secondary school students in Chachoengsao Province. The samples consisted of 303   secondary school students aged 12-18 years. A stratified random sampling method was applied for the recruitment of participants. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire during the period from 1st to 31st July 2018. Data were analyzed by Descriptive statistic, Chi-square test, Pearson’s Product Moment Correlation Coefficient and Multiple regression analysis, The study showed that the need for reproductive health services in secondary school was 35.3%. Predicting factors of reproductive health service needs of secondary school students were the perception in the act for prevention and solution of the adolescent pregnancy problem, B.E. 2559, attitude towards reproductive health services, age, reproductive health knowledge and learning achievement which can predict around 48.7%. (R2=0.487 p<0.05). The study results can be used as a guideline for the provision of reproductive health services in schools to meet student needs.
