The Relationship Between Department’s Information and the Image of Department of Health Service Support

Abstract
This study was the survey research focusing on the relationship between department’s
information and the image of Department of Health Service Support. The purposes of this study
were to find social factors, how workers were aware of the organization’s information, operation
and activities, and also to research the opinion of the employees about duty and image of the
department. There were 300 samples who work at the Department of Health Service Support,
Ministry of Public Health selected by purpose (Purposive Sampling). The content were described
and analyzed to percentage, mean and standard deviation by using and the Pearson’s product
moment correlation coefficient.
The results revealed that the samples were females (51.67%) and males (48.33%). Most of
them were in the age of 50-60 years old (35.33%), Bachelor Graduates (56.33%), and have been
worked for 21-25 years (17.67%). The most popular method that samples got organization’s
information was the website hss.moph.go.th (63.33%) and the samples were moderately aware of
the organization’s information and activities. The samples had good attitude about the
Department of Health Service Support’s roles, and had very good attitude about the
Department’s image.
The education level and the Department of Health Service Support’s image were related
at the .05 statistical significant levels, but gender, age and working age were not related to the
image. The awareness of Department of Health Service Support’s information and activities were
related to the organization’s image at the .05 statistical significant levels, and the attitude of
workers about the department’s roles were related to the image of Department of Health Service
Support’s image at the 0.05 statistical significant levels.
