Evaluation of Supervision Projects in Public Health” Chiangmai Provincial public Health Office

Abstract

The evaluation of the supervision project, monitor, control and supervise the work in public health Chiangmai provincial public health office. Using CIPP Model of Staffel Beam is a framework that is mixed methods research. The qualitative research was used questionnaire. The sample is 97 administrators and responsible operators in district-level. The qualitative research was used in group discussions by selecting the sample from 22 voluntary representatives.

The results of the study, the high level in import factor ( =3.96), input factor ( =3.79), in process ( = 3.95) and in product ( = 3.89). The total opinion at a high-level ( = 3.90). Mostly agree with separate zones but should supervise the work of each district in the same measure. Frameworks and indicators should cover policy and issues in the area but not be many. It should supervise work as scheduled and have complete supervisors according to the issue of supervision. By aiming to build an understanding of supervisory standards and build morale and encouragement to the supervisors more than focusing on quantitative data.

The receiver of supervision think that the project still need to continue because of advantages. It is a support process for analyzing the problems. To formulate a plan for solving problems in the area and follow up on the progress. And the supervisors should be the coach and consider the supervisory process how to make supervisors and receiver have happiness.
