Abstract

Nutritional Wellness was the principle of using foods to promote robust health by acquiring knowledge in the dimension of physical health which focused on food consumption, food preparation, principles of nutrition for health promotion and the technologies or trend that related to nutritions and foods for health promotion. The term of 'Wellness' originally used  for dimension of physical, emotion , social, intellectual ability and others. Due to nutritional aspect was no clear separation from others and merely embedded in the physical dimension along with exercise and sleep. However, a consideration of nutritions and health promotion in science of wellness was major issue. That not only an encouragement of sugar, fat and salt reduction. There were also involves  with a dimension of health promotion in terms of food preparation to obtain maximum nutritions, choosing foods that are suitable source of nutrients and vitamins for body. Functional foods were used as a health care tool of health promotion. Various food technologies such as personalized nutrition and genetic-based nutrition were becoming of current trend in global change which were set for individual person. Technology of stool examination, assessed for the presence of beneficial bacteria in digestive tract. This assists in the recommendation for a tailors made dietary of useful bacteria for each individual. This article presents a clearer perspective on the nutritional dimension and the connection to Wellness.
