The Effectiveness of Desirable health Behavioral Change Patterns in Working Group and Aging Group, Health Promotion Hospital Chiang Mai Region 1

The objective of this study to study the effectiveness of the service pattern between basic health promotion activities and full health promotion activities to the desired health behavior change of working age and aging group. This research was a retrospective research was a retrospective quantitative study by using data recorded in medical records between OCTOBER 1, 2018 to October 31, 2019. The data were data of clients who follow up at the health promotion clinic at least twice and follow up distance between 75 and 210 day. The research instruments were used to assess the desirable behavioral assessment of the working age group and the desirable behavior of the aging group. The statistics used in this research were frequency distribution, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi- square T-Test and Fisher’s exact test. The results of this research showed that 277 working age people and 515 aging people were analyzed data and found that the population characteristics of working age group were significantly differences that group was received full activities had age body mass index and chronic non-communicable diseases. While the demographic characteristics of the aging group were female and the presence of chronic non- communicable diseases were significantly lower. When comparing the desirable behaviors of working age group after follow up appointment were found that groups were received full health promotion activities had desirable behavior for working age group including 12 aspects better than groups were received basic health promotion activities had statistical significance (3.45 and 0 percent respectively, P value 0.030 * Fisher’s exact test) and found that desirable behavior in each aspect in terms of having enough physical activity and wearing a seat belt every time when driving or traveling in a car more after were received health promotion activities that compared to the basic activities. (58.6% and 41.6% respectively in the term of physical activities body, P value 0.008 * chi square test and 98.9% and 93.2% respectively for seat belt wearing, P value 0.045 * chi square test) In aging group there were no statistically significant differences for desirable behavior in between groups were received full and basic health promotion activities.
