The Causal Relationship and effect of Participation in health activities Affected on Health Behavior (Food, Exercise, Emotion, Smoking and Alcohol Cessation) among People, Phrae Province

The Purpose of this study was to study the level of participation in health activities, health behavior (food, exercise, emotion, smoking, and alcohol cessation) and to study the causal relationship and effect of participation in health activities affected on health behavior. The sample consisted of 400 people over 15 years old who live in Phrae Province. The sampling method was multistage random sampling. The questionnaires were used to collect data, Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient between 0.70-0.93. The data were analyzed by structured equation modeling technique.
The result showed that the people in Phrae Province have a moderate level of participation in health activities ( = 1.89, SD= 0.78), moderate level of health behavior ( = 2.59, SD= 0.49), and showed that the proposed model fitted with the empirical data (Chi-Square= 14.01, Chi-Square/df= 2.35, p-value= 0.03, RMSEA= 0.06, CFI= 0.98, TLI= 0.95, SRMR= 0.03)
