The process of reinforce for teenage pregnancy prevention and problem solving, Maehongson Province

Abstract

This research aims to study the process of reinforce on teenage pregnancy prevention and problem solving in Mae Hong Son Province. Target area were Mueang Maehongson District and Pangmapha District, between 2012-2014, the statistic data were Descriptive Research analyzed by Content Analysis and Vital Statistics Rate. The results shown that the process of reinforce for teenage pregnancy prevention and problem solving, Mae Hong Son Province inclusive             5 process; (1) Policy and Strategy (2) Strategic

Route Map (3) Budget Supporting (4) Developed working process; the activities were developed the youth friendly clinic in hospital services system, the district network expansion, develop the district committee ability, creating youth leaders; by promote life skills development training for youth leaders, the public communications and learning the process of sex education curriculum. And (5) Monitoring and Evaluation 

  As a result from the process of reinforce for teenage pregnancy prevention and problem solving, Maehongson Province shown that the situation and trend of teenage pregnancy and birth rate in Mueang Maehongson District were decreased. The birth rate of mother aged between 15-19 years per 1,000 woman populations compared from     the year 2012 to 2014 found that the birth rate was 48.64  41.13 and 38.19 while Pangmapha District were decreased from the year 2012 to 2013 was 69.73 to 46.44  and increased at 2014 was 54.81.
