The objective of this action research was to investigate the result
of potential development in using chemical pesticides correctly and safety
of agriculturists in Don Aong sub-district, Phochai district, Roi Et province.
Data were collected by using questionnaires and “Appreciation Influence
Control Technique” ( AIC) of agriculturists in Don Oon District, Pho Chai
District. Roi Et Province. There were 31 risky and unsafe Choline esterase
levels. The reliability of the questionnaire was 0.87. Data were analyzed
using descriptive statistics and difference testing of average of knowledge,
attitude, risk recognition and behavior of using chemical pesticides
correctly and safety of agriculturists before and after joined program by
using Paired Sample t-test.
The result of research revealed that after joined program. The
average of knowledge about using chemical pesticides increased that was
statistical significant at 0.01 level. (p-value=0.009) The average of attitude
about using chemical pesticides increased that was no statistical
significant. The average of risk recognition and chemical pesticides using
increased that was statistical significant at 0.01 level. (p-value=0.001) The
average of behavior of using chemical pesticides correctly and safety
increased that was statistical significant at 0. 01 level. ( p- value<0. 001)
After joined program, Choline esterase enzyme level of agriculturists were
normal and safe at 83.87 percent.
The suggestion was training program arrangement for all agriculturist
groups besides group of agriculturist who had risk level of Choline esterase
enzyme in order to all agriculturists have knowledge lead to behavior of using
chemical pesticides correctly and safety. Moreover, there should be a budget
for purchasing self defense equipment from using chemical pesticides of
agriculturists.
