เพื่อพัฒนาระบบการเผยแพร่บทความของวารสารให้สอดคล้องกับมาตรฐานของวารสารอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการบริหารจัดการบทความออนไลน์ กองบรรณาธิการ วารสารวิจัยสาธารณสุขศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ขอแจ้งให้ทราบว่า
ตั้งแต่ ปีที่ 20 ฉบับที่ 1 มกราคม–เมษายน 2570 เป็นต้นไป วารสารจะปรับเปลี่ยนรูปแบบการระบุบทความที่เผยแพร่ จากเดิมที่ใช้ เลขหน้าบทความ (Page Number) มาเป็น รหัสตีพิมพ์บทความ (Publication ID) ซึ่งจะใช้เป็นตัวระบุบทความอย่างเป็นทางการแทนเลขหน้าในการเผยแพร่และการอ้างอิงบทความ
Publication ID จะมีรูปแบบ ดังนี้
eYYYYNNNNNN
โดยที่
e หมายถึง Electronic Publication
YYYY หมายถึง ปีที่ตีพิมพ์ (ค.ศ.)
NNNNNN หมายถึง หมายเลขรับบทความ (Submission ID) ที่ระบบวารสารออนไลน์ (ThaiJO) กำหนดเมื่อรับบทความ

การเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าวมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ
- เพิ่มความยืดหยุ่นในการบริหารจัดการบทความอิเล็กทรอนิกส์
- รองรับการเผยแพร่บทความออนไลน์ได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
- ลดข้อจำกัดของการกำหนดเลขหน้าต่อเนื่องทั้งฉบับ
- อำนวยความสะดวกในการสืบค้นและการอ้างอิงบทความ
- สนับสนุนการพัฒนาวารสารสู่มาตรฐานการเผยแพร่วารสารอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในระดับสากล
การเปลี่ยนแปลงนี้ ไม่มีผลกระทบต่อ กระบวนการรับบทความ การประเมินคุณภาพบทความโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ (Peer Review) การตอบรับตีพิมพ์ การกำหนด DOI หรือข้อมูลบรรณานุกรมอื่นของบทความ
บทความที่เผยแพร่ก่อน ปีที่ 20 ฉบับที่ 1 มกราคม–เมษายน 2570 จะยังคงใช้เลขหน้าบทความตามเดิม ส่วนบทความที่เผยแพร่ตั้งแต่ฉบับดังกล่าวเป็นต้นไป จะใช้ Publication ID แทนเลขหน้าบทความอย่างเป็นทางการ

Announcement
Adoption of Publication ID in Place of Page Numbers
The Editorial Board of the KKU Journal of Public Health Research is pleased to announce the adoption of a Publication ID system in place of conventional page numbers for published articles.
This policy will take effect beginning with Volume 20, Issue 1 January–April 2027.
Under the new publishing format, each published article will be assigned a unique Publication ID, which will serve as the official article identifier for publication, citation, and indexing purposes instead of page numbers.
The Publication ID follows the format:
eYYYYNNNNNN
where:
e = Electronic Publication
YYYY = Year of publication (Gregorian calendar)
NNNNNN = Manuscript Submission ID assigned by the ThaiJO online journal system at the time of submission
Examples:

The implementation of the Publication ID aims to:
- enhance the management of electronic journal publishing;
- improve flexibility in online publication workflows;
- eliminate the limitations of continuous page numbering;
- facilitate article identification, retrieval, and citation; and
- align the journal with modern electronic publishing practices.
This change does not affect the journal's editorial process, peer-review system, acceptance criteria, DOI assignment, or any other bibliographic information associated with published articles.
Articles published before Volume 20, Issue 1 January–April 2027 will continue to use page numbers, while all articles published from this issue onward will be identified using the Publication ID.
