FREE GINIGIVAL GRAFT FOR TREATMENT GINGIVAL RECESSION: A CASE REPORT

ABSTRACT

                The free gingival graft is one type of surgical periodontics procedure used to cover gingival recession tooth roots and to enhance the amount of keratinized attached gingival tissue around the tooth undergo orthodontic movement.  The present case report demonstrated successful management with increasing of the zone of keratinized gingiva by using free gingival graft technique in patient with 6 millimeters of gingival recession after 22 months of follow up. The excellent outcome depended basically on proper characteristics of recipient site, surgical procedure and good oral hygiene care.
