Factors Related to Creative Systematic Thinking Coaching Performance of Healthcare Providers

Introduction: Coaching Performance with Creative Systems Thinking could enhance learners to improve their capability. Hence, they can advance their learning and thinking process towards growth mindset.
Research Objectives: To investigate the relationships between administrative factors, coaching process factors of coaching performance, and creative systems thinking among healthcare providers.
Research methodology: A cross-sectional descriptive design was used in this study. Sample consisted of 127 healthcare providers who participated in the program of development of humanized service-learning process under virtual family project. Tools were the learning process skills using 3-basket techniques and a semi-structured interview. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Spearman's Rank correlation, and content analysis.
Results: Findings showed that mean scores of administrative and coaching process factors of coaching performance with creative systems thinking were at the highest level. Mean score of learning skills towards growth mindset was at the highest level. The administrative and coaching process factors were significantly positive associated with coaching performance with creative systems thinking using growth mindset (p<.01). Further findings also demonstrated that: 1) the atmosphere of learning process was friendly, using gentle dialog, reflecting a holistic thinking, and focusing on social benefit; 2) emerging various perspectives, including deep listening, better understanding the others, taking time before decision making, and thinking broadly; and 3) having the new creative system thinking for public and self-awareness towards their role.
Conclusions: Administrative factors, and coaching process factors had positive associations with coaching performance using creative systems thinking among healthcare providers.
Implications: Coaching performance using creative systems thinking should be promoted to enhance coaching skills among instructors.
