Data privacy in the digital age

Abstract

This paper aims to provide knowledge about the importance of data privacy. Data privacy is the relationship between the collection and dissemination of data, technology, the public expectation of privacy and legal. Privacy law refers to the laws that deal with the regulation, storing, and using of personally identifiable information, personal healthcare information, and financial information of individuals, which can be collected by governments, public or private organizations, or other individuals. It also applies in the business sector to things like trade secrets. Therefore, for data security the European Union enacted a personal data protection law called "GDPR" (EU General Data Protection Regulation) to require organizations Must have security measures for stored data Which Thailand has adopted this law as a guideline for legislation to protect the personal information of the people in the country called  "Personal Data Protection Act, B.E. 2562 (2019)". Explain the preparation guidelines for organizations and data owners According to the measures contained in the Personal Data Protection Act.
