Performance Testing of LED Lighting Control System for Billboard

This research is an experimental research. The objective is to study and design the brightness control system of LED bulbs suitable for advertising signs. The main equipment used is the microcontroller. Which serves to create the signal of the PMW by receiving input from the light intensity sensor around the billboard to control the amount of light intensity in accordance with the standards of lighting use of billboards. The results of the research showed that the brightness control system of LED lamps during the period 18.00-23.59 hrs and 00.00-06.00 hrs. There were about 70 and 79 percent of electricity energy saving, respectively, when compared to testing when using the system. Brightness control In both periods, the advertising billboard still gives the standard brightness. Therefore, the light intensity control set is another alternative to use and to save electricity.
