Abstract

The elderly are the age group with a transformation of the body and degeneration of the body's internal organs, the system of cells, tissues and organs. The slow movement of the body was observed when the age increases. As a result, the elderly are obesity. Additionally, there is at present, a change in the economy, society and environment. Which affects the well-being. Thus, lifestyle of the elderly has changed such as changing the way of life, social gatherings to eat and more consumption, and the lack of exercise. This is a cause of obesity in elderly. The  obesity may affect health. Therefore the prevention and evaluation of obesity in the elderly. Will help reduce the health problem and slow the death form non communicable disease.
